অরূপ হালদার


চোখের জল ঢাকতে গিয়ে 
হাসছ কেন এত 
যন্ত্রণা বুঝি দিচ্ছে চাড়া 
শাণিত ছুরির মত। 
জীবন যন্ত্রণা মনে হয় অসহ 
হেরে যাওয়া ছাড়া থাকে না পড়ে তো কিছু 
কাঁদতে কাঁদতে সময়টা যায় চলে 
তবুও ছোটা অলীক সুখের পিছু। 

স্বপ্ন দেখার নেই তো কোন শেষ 
আনন্দ সায়রে বৃথাই ডোবার চেষ্টা 
উঠে আসে তবু পাত্র ভরা গরল 
জানিনা কবে মিটবে মনের তেষ্টা। 
বেদনার এক রোমানটিসিজম আছে 
কেন যে সে করে এমন আকর্ষণ 

প্রাণের সৃষ্টি হয় কি ব্যথার গর্ভে 
সত্যি কি ঘটে আনন্দে  উত্তরণ।।
